Snowfall in the Valley

Winter came and with it my desire to paint snow. All things seem especially quiet in the snow, so I decided to paint this quiet little farm beside a river in the valley of the mountains. It seemed like a very peaceful and wonderful place to be. However, if you look closely, the daffodils are peeking through the snow, so spring is not far away.
