When I began this painting, I had in mind a celebration of life with the old and the young – an ongoing renewal of both physical human life and blooming plant life. My daughter suggested “Villa Famiglia” for the title, so I decided to include three generations working together to celebrate and renew their lives and the beautiful life of the villa.
